Welcome! The mission of this non-profit organization is to promote classical guitar music in the Chattahoochee Valley region (Alabama-Georgia). The society has been formed in collaboration between Omar A. Oyarzabal, from Auburn University, and Dr. Andrew Zohn, from the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University. Our next concert will feature Colin Davin, who is an amazing classical guitar performer! His concert will be on Friday, October 26 at 7:00 pm at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, Auburn University; Auburn, AL. We are co-sponsoring this event with the JCS Museum. Please see the promotion flyer Mr. Davin has achieved numerous accomplishments within the past year, including: First Prize and Audience Choice Award, 2006, Portland Guitar Competition First Prize, 2006, Juan Serrano International Guitar Competition Finalist and Prizewinner, 2006, Columbus State University Guitar Competition Finalist and Prizewinner, 2006, Lachine International Guitar Competition Finalist, 2006, Guitar Foundation of America Competition He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California, Thornton School of Music with William Kanengiser, a member of the Grammy winning LA Guitar Quartet.
